A few days ago I looked through my unframed pictures and my frames to see for which pictures I already have a matching frame. One of those frames was a black and oval one. When I looked at it, I got inspired to draw this picture. 
It's my first time drawing/painting a silver fox and it almost drove me crazy ... But I'm quite satisfied with the outcome now, even though there are still some mistakes in it. :/
Scanning this picture was a pain in the ass (because of the black fur), so the version you can see here is no match to the original ...
Anyways, I hope you like it.
It's for sale, even though I'm not really sure about a price yet ... just notify me if you're interested.
(Size: about 13,5x18,5cm/ 5,3"x7,3")
(Media: marker, ink pen, acrylic ink and colored pencil on bristol paper)

Daily Deviation, 2009-01-14
'Bewitching Blue' is cute and mysterious at the same time. And the eyes really are bewitching me. ~PanHesekielShiroi has a lot of nice anthropomorphic characters in her gallery, but this one for sure made me fall in love with it. (Suggested by ~SpeedyCheetah and Featured by `skifi)

Well, I guess it's because I made the eyes bigger than they are on normal foxes. That combined with the perspective (front) and the crappy scan (it looks all so terribly flat on the scan D: )makes it look a bit like a cat. -- Oh god! Let there be brain! wow, sehr schön!

Wie hast du nur den Hintergrund so schön gleichmäßig hinbekommen? Man sieht auf jeden Fall , dass viel Liebe in dem Bild steckt  -- Have fun as long as you can ;3 öha.
Weil die farben so derart satt sind dachte ich auf den ersten Blick das wäre ein PC colo Bildchen. Ist es aber nicht. Wahnsinn. -- ~Erst wenn meine Bewegung der meines Umfeldes gleicht komme ich zum Stillstand~ Dankesehr, ein Grund dafür kann die Grundierung mit den Markern sein.

Naja, der Hintergrund ist einfach mit Markern gemacht (Gradientencoloration), ist also echt nix besonderes. -- Oh god! Let there be brain! Danke!

Die Augen sind echt der Hammer, die ziehen total den Blick auf sich, sehr genial! :3 -- My goal in life: Make at least one person smile/ laugh/ happy etc. per day and die with a rate of at least 90% reached!! Naja, dann ist es eben eine ... Katzenfüchsin, genau!
Vielleicht sollte ich die Augen das nächste Mal kleiner machen, dann gibt's keine Verwechslungen mehr ... Aber ich glaube dann geht die Wirkung total flöten. :/ Aber danke, danke (auch für den Fav ).-- Oh god! Let there be brain! |
