The first picture of a pair. The other part is "The Black King" -> [link]

There they are facing each other like enemies. One moment of hesitation might be their final mistake ... yet both of them hesitate...
Maybe because they're actually lovers? ;)
(And yes, they're actually fighting on a chess board.)

I did the first character sketches for both of them already months ago and now finally painted with this picture pair. There are probably more to come (with some kind of crappy story). :)

The originals were already sold.
